POSITION: Administrative Assistant (HR)

The administrative assistant will work directly with the HR department providing clerical and administrative support to the HR team and current/new employees. The administrative assistant will maintain department organization, support daily HR functions, and assist in the coordination of HR policies, procedures, and relevant documents. This position will report to the director of compliance.

As an administrative assistant, you will:

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR department.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks including filing, expense reports, supply requisitions, personnel transaction forms, and new employee paperwork.
  • Prepare special reports and newsletters if necessary. (Such items typically require research, development and/or interpretation of data and will be performed with little supervision or instruction).
  • Initiate onboarding for newly hired employees.
  • Organize and maintain HR documentation.
  • Promote and maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with all company personnel.
  • Provide other support as necessary and uphold the core values of the company.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 2-3 years administrative experience or equivalent combinations training and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures plus ability to organize and coordinate group work efforts required.
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work effectively with wide range of individuals from high level executives to field personnel.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
  • Must act with honesty and integrity.
